Has my Ignik tank been purged, and is it OK to fill?

Yes! We purge every tank at the factory prior to shipping. Our growlers come ready-to-fill! When it's time to fill up, take to your local propane filler and fill to these capacities:

• Gas Growler 3.8: holds 3.8 lb (0.9 gal)

• Gas Growler 5: holds 5 lb (1.2 gal)

• Gas Growler 10: holds 10 lb (2.5 gal)

The pressure at each filler is slightly different, and this can impact the exact amount of fuel each cylinder accepts. It helps a lot if you tell the filling attendant that is about how much your tank needs.
