How do I refill the TapRack and Pounder?Updated 2 days ago
TAPRACK QUICK START GUIDE
Fill up to 4 – Ignik Pounder bottles at once using the TapRack filling frame. TapRack filling frame is only compatible with Ignik Pounder bottles.
The TapRack filling frame is required to fill Pounder bottles.
STEPS:
1. Connect Pounder bottles to Tap Rack frame, by aligning the bottle valve with TapRack mount.
Align tab into opening slot, press upward and rotate ¼-turn clockwise into place. Repeat step for up to 4 bottles. Remove bottles by pushing up and rotate ¼-turn counter clockwise to unlock and release.
2. Take TapRack to your local Propane Refiller (Gas Station, U-Haul, etc.) Refillers can fill the TapRack the same way they fill 5, 10 and 20-lb Propane tanks
3. Connect the refilling hose
4. Open TapRack top valve
5. Open 1 bottle bleeder valve, and begin filling
6. Discontinue filling process, when the meter reads approximately 1 gallon and excess fuel begins to escape from the open bleeder.
7. After bottles are filled, bottles can be left on the TapRack for storage and transport, or individually removed for more portability.
HELPFUL TIPS:
- Once bottle are removed from frame, do not return them to TapRack Frame until you are ready to refill. When empty bottles are returned to the TapRack frame, the remaining fuel from filled bottles, will automatically redistribute remaining fuel equally into all connected bottles.
- When refilling, it is OK to open multiple bleeder valves on the bottles, but open one bleeder for best results.
- TapRack cannot be used with single-use Propane Bottles. TapRack cannot be used with Flame King or Fuel Keg Refillable bottles.
