My FireCan Shows a Heat Diffuser in the Manual, Why Don't I Have One?Updated 8 days ago

The FireCan doesn't come with a heat diffuser, and that's intentional, even though some manuals still show one due to a factory error. We're sorry for the confusion this caused.

We originally planned to include a heat diffuser. But during testing, we found it pushed too much heat downward instead of spreading it out. This meant less heat reached the user and more reached the ground, which caused the FireCan to fail safety tests for burn-ban approval. Since safety comes first, we couldn't include it.

Instead, we found that FireCan Rocks work better. Their extra weight actually helps: they absorb heat and radiate it back out, rather than just deflecting it away.

The FireCan works great on its own, with no accessories needed. But if you want to diffuse the flame further, we recommend our FireCan Rocks or Moon Rocks. They perform better than any heat diffuser we tested.
